Light weight and has a view finder which was an important factor for me. Manufacturers have dropped viewfinders apart from on high end models. Records onto internal memory or Memory Stick. Easy to download onto a computer.

Don't buy if you want decent quality stills. Only of use in an emergency. Quality of Video not quite as good as my old JVC Mini DV recorder but a lot more versatile. Excellent zoom.

Poor image qoality

Battery life could be better

the bag is a bit too small to fit all accessory, perhaps they should big the big slightly more bigger.
