Sony SS 86 E Floorstanding Speakers

I have the SS126E: identical to the '86E in all but size.

Good as home theater front speakers. Does it quite well with an active sub. Sounds good with quite many music styles (with normal volume settings), too.

These will work fine in a suitable room, not too big. If you are into classical music, and will use them as a kind of near field monitors, these are for you. They can sound pretty amazing. Work better on the stands ( shall I add? ) PS: I do not use...
