Complete garbage - might as well burn your money

I have owned this blender for 2 years, and it's complete garbage (with the exception of the jar being glass & not plastic). I thought I'd turn in my 60 year old beehive blender (that still rocked, but the man thought it was time to pack it in), and buy...

glass jar (not plastic), and most of its materials are recyclable

leaks at the seal ; pour design causes irritating drips ; doesn't mix thick stuff ; base corrodes
