The Samsung Chef Collection: A fridge odyssey

 

This kitchen monolith looks beautiful, costs six grand, and might actually be a bargain.

Samsung's Chef Collection fridge is the largest and most feature-rich model we've ever tested. The gorgeous design manages to live up to the steep $6,000 price tag.

Though steady in our tests, the Chef Collection fridge wasn't able to outperform less expensive refrigerators in our cooling tests. Also, you need to open the door in order to access the controls.

We've seen slightly better performance from less expensive models, but this luxury fridge feels appropriately luxurious, and its features can't be beat. Covet accordingly.

Samsung RF34H9960S4 [análisis]: un refrigerador de US$6,000 que quizás los valga

 

Este refrigerador es hermoso, cuesta miles de dólares — y aún así, es una ganga.

Este refrigerador de la serie Chef Collection de Samsung es el modelo más grande y con más prestaciones que hemos probado. El atractivo diseño hace que esté al nivel de los US$6,000 que cuesta.

Aunque estable en las pruebas, no superó a refrigeradores menos costosos en materia de enfriamiento. Además, hay que abrir la puerta para tener acceso a los controles.

Hemos visto un desempeño ligeramente menor de modelos menos costosos, pero este aparato de lujo se siente como tal y sus prestaciones son insuperables.
