I purchased the above item on April 26 2014. The manufacturer's website has said this device has a warranty for 3 years. The model has been discontinued, and apparently so has the warranty according to the people at Trendnet who I spoke with today. I...

Great camera

 

I have four of these. They work very well. Clear video. Tech support is very helpful. Apps for apple and android also work well. You can see whats going on at your house from anywhere there's wifi.

Worst customer service of all time

 

The few bucks saved on this cheap product is not worth the hours lost due to poor documentation and even worse customer service.

It worked until I had to get a new router

Called customer service several months ago because it wouldn't work with replacement router. Was told a technician would call me back in an hour. I waited months with no call. Tried to reach them today. Very long holds. Was finally told to call back...

Well for $29.95 I had to buy one even if I had no pressing use. At first I had all manner of issues attempting to view and setup the camera. It was easy to connect to my router since they both support WPS, just 2 button presses. After that I couldnt...

Cheap!

 

it's a bargain, with video quality to match. you can identify that there is a person in the field of view, but fat chance of telling who that person is. at higher magnification, you'd be hard pressed to identify anything other than movement.

Great little camera

We've had one of these running wirelessly at my church for nearly a year without any issues. We use it as a webcam to monitor a community garden that we run. Instead of the included cloud app, we run WebcamXP Free on an office PC and it works...

Not really a con, but it does take some level of technical ability to get it configured, especially with a third party app. But it's been working awesomely

Poor Support For Cloud Viewing

 

I submitted a support ticket because I couldn't view the cam from the cloud address on my Windows 8 phone. I asked two questions: How do I view on a Win 8 phone? Answer: not supported Also I asked, If not supported, when? No answer received. A friend...

As a conventional IP cam, this is a 5 * item IMO.

Windows 8 phone can not view from cloud. You use something else?, don't be surprised if you have trouble. There seems to be no data available to help troubleshoot the cloud operation of this camera, and you may get little to no help from Trendnet
