It does work with skype and its a webcam alright

For the price, i would expect much better quality. Could have used that money to but a Logitech E310 or something. Video looked choppy as well as the autofocus was focussing when your not moving. Can be a bother

It's a cam and it works

mounting it is a pain. The video feedback looks like a $15 piece webcam. Microphone works fine
