It could have been usable...

This webcam is fairly useless and I can't recommend it unless you happen to need to use it in a perfectly light-favorable environment and you only ever plan to use Windows with IE for browsing, since it doesn't seem to support anything else. Nor can it...

You can do better

Grabbed one of these to monitor some expensive equipment in a semi-public place. Figured for $120 or so it'd be a deal. The camera itself is a swiveling camera/lens assembly on a back panel. The lens (if you'd call it that) isn't much, maybe 3mm ...

cheap(er), easy setup, good wifi range, it does work

HORRIBLE picture quality, activity lights flash when camera is viewed, no FTP, no WPA
