LG is to be heartily congratulated on the 42LT75. The Freeview Playback system turns out to be a triumph, even in this, its debut TV incarnation. And thankfully LG has really thrown its support behind the new technology by doing a much better job...

Overall, it is very hard not to like this TV - if this had a second digital tuner and better sound it would be perfect but as you can pick one up for around £500 - it may be worth buying it anyway and living with the drawbacks

In terms of picture quality, there are better performing LCD TV's out there. If however, you want a great value all in one TV/Recorder package that takes away all the pain of recording/playback then the LG 32LT75 is a very interesting proposition.
