Toasters don't get much more average than this

 

This unexceptional appliance does nothing to offend, but nothing to stand out.

The Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome Toaster did an acceptable job in our tests, showing no major weaknesses. As cheap toasters go, it's one that gets the job done.

The Classic Chrome tended to overcook slightly at medium settings. Also, the design left us unimpressed.

Even if you don't expect much from your toaster, you can do better than this.

The Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome Toaster did an acceptable job in our tests, showing no major weaknesses. As cheap toasters go, it's one that gets the job done.

One-sided

 

I bought my Hamilton Beach 22600 2-slice Toaster, about two years ago, from Wal-mart. I was coned into buying this attractive, reasonable priced toaster, mainly because of it's appearance.

Attractive, strong and reliable

Toasts one side, button release instead of lever release, Hard to keep clean

I bout this toaster to finally replace the one that my husband had continually keep fixing (he is persistent). I am really happy with this toaster.

I bought this toaster a little over a year ago. I don't toast things very often, perhaps twice a week, but already the inner elements are dimming, and things now get toasted unevenly.

Overall good toaster

 

I received this toaster as a wedding gift and we have had no problems with it. It's a nice looking toaster for the price and it does it's job. The bagel feature is great - it always toasts them to perfection. I would recommend this toaster.
