Horrible meter all around, auto ranging would help, you have to literally pry the thing open to get the battery compartment, and it is just awful. I have used other good meters(Fluke, Agilent, Extech, etc) and this is the worst meter I have ever seen....

The is a nice little inexpensive meter, it compares favorably with my other meters in terms of accuracy, plus it has a very wide range of measurements. The cover breaks off pretty easily, and it is pretty difficult to stuff the cords into the case, but...

Cable is very rigid. Made it very hard to use during a shoot, it didn't lay flat, kept coiling up. Am going to return this.

Used this product for a VGA over Cat5e cable and it performed great.
