HP's detachable workstation melds class-leading Wacom feel with HP DreamColor accuracy and hits the bullseye for some.
The HP ZBook x2 G4's Adobe RGB-accurate DreamColor matte screen is far more usable than the typical glossy panel, and combined with Wacom EMR's 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity provides brushes that feel more natural than most to work with. It's...
You're limited to the one, single-button stylus, it's relatively heavy and while the battery life is good for its components, it won't get you through the day.
As long as you aren't constrained by the stylus and are comfortable with the cost, the HP ZBook x2 G4 DreamColor delivers accurate color and smooth sketching with workstation credibility.

The HP ZBook x2 is heavy and expensive, but this Windows tablet's strong feature set gives creatives an excellent alternative to using a traditional laptop or desktop.
Sleek, premium build quality. Comfortable keyboard. 4K touch screen that mimics writing on paper. Impressive 32GB of memory.
Expensive as configured. Heavy. Underwhelming graphics performance.
Bottom Line: The HP ZBook x2 is heavy and expensive, but this Windows tablet's strong feature set gives creatives an excellent alternative to using a traditional laptop or desktop.

Not quite a Surface-killer
Great display ; Solid performance
High price ; Battery life ; Bulky design
If you want a portable, somewhat flexible and square-looking workstation with all the right bells and whistles and a fair amount of grunt, the HP Zbook x2 is a compelling choice.

The HP ZBook X2 G4 isn't new to the market but this year HP has added a few horses under the hood which should make creative professionals very happy.
Really bad ass design ; Great keyboard ; Premium build quality built to last ; Great I/O options for a detachable ; Power and performance ; Great display ; Tablet can be used for pro apps
Heavy and awkward ; Price tag is high ; Pen holder was an afterthought
There is no doubt in my mind, the HP ZBook X2 G4 is the best detachable PC for creators and artists. It has the power and features under the hood to satisfy the work needs of photographers, designers, videographers, and artists. I wouldn’t recommend...

If an ordinary laptop won't cut it performance-wise you need to step up to a mobile workstation, and HP has several contenders in its ZBook range: late last year we looked at the ZBook 14u G4 and found that while it was robust, performance was...
Excellent pen and great pen configuration tools ; Good keyboard ; Solid build ; Good performance ; Solid kickstand
Moderate battery life ; Disappointing audio ; Expensive

The HP Zbook X2 G4 is powerful tablet-first, 2-in-1 device, built around Intel's latest 8th Generation Core processor platform.

Want a laptop that lets you get in a quick Overwatch match after you're done editing some video on its 4K display? How about a convertible that lets you crank out screeds even with the keyboard a few feet away? Need a tablet that lets you create and...
Color-accurate 4K anti-glare display. Detachable Bluetooth keyboard is genius.
