Even if the Fusion Garage JooJoo gracefully executed its very limited capabilities, it would still be woefully overpriced. The fact that it has difficulty performing even basic tasks seals its sad fate.

Large 12.1-inch 1,366-by-768-pixel touch screen. Browser supports Flash. No productivity apps, but you can use Google Docs for word processing and spreadsheet functions.

Crashes often. Very buggy. Aside from Web browsing, doesn't do much else. Basic functionality requires future firmware updates. Touch screen is gesture-based; no multitouch (pinch and zoom) support. Can't use USB port or camera yet. Heavy.

For a device that has a difficult time responding to touch, making the home screen and main controls accessible only with the downward swipe of two fingers may sound like the kiss of death. It is. (There's no hardware Home button, like you'll find on...

The JooJoo has great potential but there are far too many niggles to make it a truly useful tablet. Best avoided for now

Den Begriff "Internet-Tablet" nimmt das Joojoo wörtlich. Man kann auf dem Gerät keine Dateien speichern. Und statt Apps gibt es Webseiten-Links. Kann dieses radikale Tablet-Konzept überzeugen? Der Test des iPad-Konkurrenten ergibt ein eindeutiges Fazit.
