LG's LH-W5100 wireless home theatre system will reduce the clutter in your living room, but is it worth the premium you're paying?
Wireless rears work well and are a breeze to set up. Produces decent audio and video.
Not enough specs for the price. Rather bland looking. Low overall system power.
Knock a few hundred off the price and LG might be on a winner. The LH-W5100 is a decent system that performs well with both audio and video, but it's too expensive when all you really get is two less wires.

I purchased this system in 2004 and I'm just about to put it on ebay to try to get rid of it. The transmitter has a lot of problems linking up to the rear wireless speakers. On a good day they would link in a matter of seconds but on bad days it took...
Slimline wireless rear speakers make the system easy to set up in rooms where you can't hard wire rear speakers
Poor connectivity of rear speakers ; Sensitive to scratched or poor quality DVD's - they often freeze and jump

Sound is pretty good if your room isn't too big
Great to have no wires esp if you have kids
The DVD players is very suspect. Mine died with 2 left on the 1 year warranty. Does not play 'backed up' dvd's very well

I bought this product a few days ago from Harvey Norman in Broadway NSW. Overall i'm quite happy but the handshaking with the rear speakers seemed like it would never finish!!! The manual says that it would take 5 seconds and maybe longer, they weren't...
