Great for the Price

 

The setup wasn't a deal breaker for me since i did research prior and was fully aware of having to use component cables. I can see someone being very upset if they setup everything w/ HDMI and then realized you had to use component cables. Plus that...

A great amount of features for the price. 4 HDMI hookups + ipod and usb. It even came w/ an ipod video cord. Sound is great

The main con I ran into is the setup. As mentioned in other reviews, you have to setup using component cables. Pretty dumb and inconvenient..especially when everything i'm hooking up has HDMI.. this is the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5

Great receiver!

 

Receiver does everything it says it can do and does it well. My speakers sound great coming through and video looks great too. I have a pair of Polk Monitor70s running off this and they sound great. I have no reception/lag issues with the remote but...

I originally set up using MCACC. I ended up settting up my speakers manually. Excellent cyber monday price $ 199.

Great Receiver!

 

iPod hook up is an awesome feature to have!

Great looking unit ; Easy to setup, manual is helpful for people who don't know how to hook up cables correctly ; I got this when they had it $150 off so it was definitely worth it. Sounds great with the Bose 5.1 system I currently have in a large size...

You can't use the on screen setup with HDMI. You have to hook up a separate video cable in order to see the screen ; I won't take an egg off for this because the receiver overall is great

Great $199 receiver

 

Lots of up to date features at a holiday sale price. Very pleased. Makes my five Polk Audio speakers and sub sound just great in a medium sized room.

The iPad connection works great. Everything works great and plenty of adjustments

Great sound, but faulty hdmi ports

 

Love the sound from this receiver. Had to take it in twice for repairs since Dec 2011 to two separate HDMI ports failing to produce sound.
