Worked great, fan was not enough to keep it cool

Very fast machine, ran well, runs VERY hot, had to buy external cooling fan and still ran very hot during regular use

Ran very hot, motherboard fried on it, had to send in to MSI and took about 2 hours on the phone, waiting for it to be returned

Dead pixels

extremely fast ; great build ; very nice keyboard ; very nice speakers

Only cons that I have found with this laptop so far is the bloatware (obviously) and the 6-10 dead pixels on my screen. For the money I paid for this laptop I would expect to not have this many (or any) dead pixels. Contacting MSI is an extreme hassle...

Love this machine!

Very happy with this purchase and was a little timid because I had not purchased anything MSI before but I am very pleased. Seems like a very solid machine all the way around.

I have nothing bad to say about this laptop. It is a monster. Since I got it out of the box its been everything I hoped it would be. Its FAST, its actually quiet. I have been playing different games on Steam on it and love it. Graphics have been better...

The only thing I have had any question about is how loud the DVD drive is when it burns DVD's. Still works great, just louder than I had expected

Fail Unfortunately

Maybe just one bad egg in the batch. Still, how horrible for my first experience with MSI. I am sending the laptop back to Newegg for a repair/replacement option. After which, you can bet I will send another review. I can't recommend this brand MSI so...

MSI GT70 892 Review

For those who are interested in updating the ram to 32 gb, the machine comes with 3x ADATA pc 12800 ddr3-1600 CASL11. One open mini SATA slot for SSD expansion.

Fast, decent SSD space, great price for these specs. Would cost more to build it yourself

When fan goes into "turbo" mode it is VERY loud ; Decent amount of bloatware installed, easy enough to clean up
