A screen among the best in the ultraportable arena makes Huawei's 13.9-inch MateBook X Pro a tempting Windows ultralight alternative to Apple's MacBook Pro, but the 2019 model might not be the bargain the 2018 edition was.

Sleek design. Extra-bright 3:2 aspect ratio display. Sensational sound.

Wacky webcam placement. No HDMI port or SD card slot.
