WHISTLER WGPX-635 GPS Receiver With USA Maps Preloaded

Other than the mp3 or jpg abilities, it works great.

Ordered this from another site while it was on sale. Preloaded maps are very sharp and on point. Directions remain accurate even through rainy conditions. Let's you store favorites and allows you to locate nearest atm's, gas stations, hospitals,...

Production description on the site read that this model plays mp3 files and lets you view jpg images. Contacted Whistler and they mentioned it doesn't have any of those capabiities, only the WGPX-550 does

wgpx-635 - do not buy!

This unit has been having issues since the day I got it. Will completely crash while I'm driving. If I get to a destination and try to set a new one it locks up and I have to reset it. EVERY time this happens u have to calibrate it with the stylus...

Sometimes it works

Crashes daily or locks up. Requires a calibration every time you reset it

Terrible Sound Quality

I love this unit - other than its sound quality. Forget even hearing it while you're driving. I have 2 newer vehicles that ride quietly - however with normal road noise you cannot hear the voice command on the GPS unit. I had to get an FM modulator and...

WGPX-635 is nice

Perfect GPS for me, I had to upgrade my old GPS I used to have for almost 4 years to new one and after reading about it decided to go with it and so far I like it very much.
