Save you money and get a Garmin
Have had this in my F150 King Ranch since 2005. Is paired up with an IVA-D300. All ties up very nicely and looks really cool. Except...

Disappointing performance for my time, effort and money.
Firstly, I have an IVA-W205, which I'm relatively pleased with. I feel the interface is a little cluttered on the head unit normally, but what can you do?
Installation instructions.- Better than not having nav.- DVD

The best nav I've used
I've tried MANY navigation systems, and I've never found any better than this Alpine; I'm not sure about the mp3 interface (which one reviewer complained about), but I think anyone saying that some cheap, portable NAV is better than this unit does not...

Disturbingly poor performance
I bought this to integrate into my Nissan Titan dash with the double DIN IVA W200. Actually, I bought the IVA W300 specifically to integrate with the Nav unit. I love the integration into the Head Unit. The problem is, that's the only thing I like...

Would not recommend it
I have it installed in my Porsche 911 about 6 months ago. It is not worth even 20 percent of its price. User interface is very inconvenient. Voice command system is useless. Switching tracks on connected iPod requires a lot of attention -- don't do it...
Can be integrated with alpine DVD player
poor software (inefficient and buggy) and user interface, poor routing, inconvenient

I purchased this unit after a horrible experience with the Alpine PMD-B100 Blackbird. If you are considering that unit, please read my review on it first.
