this is the second monitor i have purchased from DCLCD the first works great and I have never had any problems with it. it was my previouse experience with this monitor that prompted me to purchase a second to expand my desktop display. I purchased it...

So worth it

 

I see no reason to pay an extra $100 for a name brand monitor, as this one is extremely comparable to the higher-end Samsung models. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Excellent brightness and contrast, and not just on paper. This thing looks absolutely gorgeous. The tilt mechanism for the display is nice also

No digital inputs, but I knew this when ordering. A bit upset that the monitor was shipped in its actual box, and I arrived home from work to see it sitting at my doorstep

Good Monitor

 

I am not a tech-guy, so I decided to buy this monitor based on the positive reviews, they were accurate.

This is a very good monitor for a great price. I do not game or do heavy graphic design, but for everyday use, it is fine. As far as I can tell there are no bad pixels

I am impressed.

 

Excellent product. I am impressed. I waited a long time for a LCD monitor and it paid off. It's a huge improvement over my CRT monitor. There are no dead pixels. It's the best monitor at this price range. I especially like 1000:1 contrast ratio. I hope...

I also have a LCD TV from Sceptre, which is currently great, but I dread the day I may need Customer support.

Newegg promptly gave me a refund

Monitor was low quality/ blurry icons. Had to contact the mfg. to receive a reference #, DCL (Sceptre) was very condescending and could telepathically know the monitor is not broken and good quality from thousands of miles away

Received with dead pixels

 

Sceptre wil not warranty any monitor that has dead pixels - this is directly from their website "LCD exclusion: Sceptre does not warrant burned pixels on any and or all LCD displays. "

nice looking monitor and has great 1000/1 resolution ; NewEgg.com has excellent shipping and delivery - it came faster to me than they said ; I would definitely buy any product form NewEgg again

received with dead pixels - DCLCD/SCEPTRE (the manufacturer) will not take this monitor back in exchange for another if it arrives with dead pixels. Basically you are stuck with it after you buy it
