Makes great coffee. Thermos keeps coffee warm for many hours. Typlically plenty warm to drink after 2 hours, and maybe 3. You can use beans or pre-ground coffee. You can use the permanent filter or paper filters

Small filter basket. A lot of moving parts to clean after each brew. If I knew it had this many moving parts to clean and get all setup just right in order to brew I wouldn't have bought it
