Pertelian x2040

Displays are good: the more the merrier. Which is why we were excited to get this into the PCF labs. It may only offer four lines of text, but this USB device could still come in handy when playing games online.

One-part silly and two-parts helpful, with just a pinch of problems, the Pertelian 2040 USB display leaves us with a mixed taste in our mouths.

Ton of options as to what you can actually put on said display, and it's fun to control your tunes with keyboard commands

Lil' buggy, lil' useless, and the accompanying software isn't exactly user-friendly. And the manual is akin to a tome

Update: The printed article incorrectly stated the MSRP as $70. The Pertelian's actual MSRP is $49.
