can record from tv dvd recorder etc . transfer photos and music from pc is simple no hardware disc to upload

a lot of extras to buy to get full use of unit ie docking station to record dvd etc . + don,t know why you have to use all cable scart cables would be easier if they were hdmi

Design, look, fast start, quality of display.

Frequently crashes and restarts. Archos support is very poor. They only accepted the unit back for repair after the 2nd atttempt to do this and it has now been with them for 6 weeks and still not repaired. Good product let down by build quality and...

screen size is good. sound is good. overall appearance is good.

there was no info on how to set it up to my home hub to gain access to the Internet,i had to pay for the set up myself-- not good. the batt life is poor. you cannot do a lot without the attachments and they are expensive. a ;little to slippery.

Very Portable.

The touch screen was not sensitive enough to touch. 1/10 for that.

Its big hard drive lets you store loads on it. The speakers are loud and clear. With a headset is good too. A good device and easy to use.

Can crash sometimes needing a reset but not a major problem all electronics have this trouble.

Excellent bundle with excellent flexibility. The ability to use the Archos as DVD player, MP3 Player, Ebook reader, Games player and surf the web is great.

Having to purchase additional plug-ins.

not much use till you start spending more money on things to make it any use i.e the mini dock, stylus's games and so on
