Good while it lasted

 

I could write a full page on what I like and worked well, and what was some design shortcomings, and eventually the unit's deterioration & failures. But in the end the fact that it glitched, and therefore unreadable, a number of discs I recorded has me...

Good Remote & Manual. Good playability of -R discs on other players.

Finicky for blank disks used. Started to lockup when finalizing.

Go Video DVD Recorder D-VR3840

 

I bought the 3840 model five months ago and for the most part was very happy with the ease of use in copying VHS and recording from the television. When my husband told me that some of the programs recorded from the tv were missing the last 10 minutes,...

The unit is slim and attractive as well being very easy to use.

The timer doesn't work properly and the unit began to suffer various glitches.
