reasonably simple to use, plays region 4 discs naturally, with no problems. Once unlocked into regionless capacity by hacks, plays some region 1 discs fine, but conflicts with other region 1 discs. Are there extra procedures to truly turn this device...

sleek design, and hack codes work to unlock it to a regionless device

some region 1 discs read fine, other region 1 discs still prompt a region conflict (even though the device is unlocked by codes - strange)

it plays ordinary dvds from the store.

It wont play NTSC on our tv, and it says it should put out a modified PAL signal.

A reasonably good player but only good value if you can get a keen price on it, otherwise look at Panasonic (for features and reasonable pricing) or Toshiba (a bit dearer but good sound and picture)

Slimline design and quite nice looking. Good picture (though reds can become oversaturated at times). Good sound ( useing it as a CD player through my amp as well as for movies).

Zoom is quite grainy and does not allow much adjustment (i.e goes from normal zoom to x2 zoom but does not allow in-between view allowed in Samsung for example). Virtual surround modes are woeful. Does not have scart or RGB output.

Excellent

Plays all format I've tried, eay to set up, all the functions you need and the remote is easy to use

Haven't had any problems with it at all - has played everything i've tried so far
