RjTECH RJ-4200 Professional DVD & CDG Karaoke Player W/2 Microphones

 

I will buy a new mic and I'm sure it will be better, but this review is about the product I bought, not what I still have to buy. I also can't use a mic AND 5.1 audio with my sound system, can only use 2.1.

Plays whatever you can throw at it. Price is cheap.

The mic is an absolute piece of junk, there is also alot of humming noise, and it picks up a radio signal fairly clear..way too clear for karaoke. While the DVD player may be multi region, the quality of it is horrendous. Do not use this DVD player...

DOES NOT HAVE VGA

 

I bought this unit at the request of a friend who's intention was to hook this up to a Viewsonic Q9 monitor, specifically because this unit was described as including a VGA connector... it does not, and SCART to VGA adapters start at thirty, which...

Inexpensive, includes 2 microphones.

DOES NOT INCLUDE VGA OUT as described.

I have not tried the mike or mikes, cause I have quality sound equipment. Running this trough my Yorkville AP 812, it sounds as good as my 3 drawer RSQ. The case is strong and nice looking, about the same size as a other single drawer units. If someone...

It plays karaoke pretty good. I like the fact that it loads a karaoke CD+G pretty much in line with what you would expect for a single drawer player and much faster than a ((karaoke on DVD)). Movies are nice too. Good slow/fast froward and backward.

The karaoke is nice for CD+G's except for the fact that no matter what I do I can't remove the track number and the elapsed time across the top of the screen, just low enough to interfere with the top line of words. The other problem, when playing a...

Lights were on - nobody was home

 

The box came in good shape, but I had a bad feeling when I took it out of the box to set it up and I could hear little pieces rolling around inside. I turned it on and the CD door wouldnt open. I'll see if the replacement is any good when I get it.

It works fairly well for this price range. I had to RMA the first one I got because there was no output on the right channel. The second one I got works well. The microphones are practically useless and cheap. They look good, but sound awful. The...

A GOOD BUY!

 

Buy it, but buy better quality microphones

NICE PLAYER! It plays the CD+G Cd's which is why i bought the product. Although one of the microphones already died, I have better ones to replace it with. The player also plays DVD, and My favorite feature, It plays DivX movies. I HEART THIS PRODUCT....

Microphones are made cheap.

My RjTECH RJ-4200 is dead

 

I bought this unit not purely based on price, I liked its features. Perhaps I expected it to last as long as my VCR!

Plays all regions, many formats, karaoke, and great price.

The unit suddenly dropped dead after 1.5 years. I only used it to watch foreign movies, so not even heavily used.
