Does not output audio sampled at over 96 Khz. No bass management for 6 channels.

not for DVD's

 

I purchased the Pioneer based on 3 very favorable reviews I read in home theater magazines. But after I added a 73" Mitsubishi to my set up a strange artifact manifested itself making watching movies a lot less enjoyable. Some reds in the picture...

Good picture, design, quiet transport, nice remote. Lots of user-adjustable options for picture and sound.

Terrible case of chroma bug.
