Excellent Cheapy

 

5-discs. cheap. slim. light. Composite, S-Video, and component outputs. Optical Audio output. Plays nearly everything.

Limited display... if you skip discs too quickly, you can lose your place. No Coax.

Nice DVD Player, but bad user interface.

 

Progressive Scan, Multi-Disc, Good all round player.

User Menus, a bit hard to understand and the manualdoes not help in that.

It's skinny.

User interface too difficult. Basic features must be done via the remote.

Superb features like Dialoge Enhancer, DVD-A, DVD-RAM, WMA, MP3, JPEG and High-MAT playblack.

No coaxial digital output.Poor tolerance to flaws in DVD movies during playback.

Great value, or is it?

 

This product offers a great deal of features at an unbeatable price. This is why I bought it. Most players don't offer DVD-A, DVD-RAM, High-MAT, WMA and JPEG capability all in one, at least not for about $135. However, a DVD player must be a good DVD ...

Do your homework first!

 

when I bought this unit I chose it because panasonic is touted by the lead reviewers here in epinion as great. Also if you do a search in google for DVD shootout, panasonic also rates very well. So what could be wrong... Actually nothing but there are...

Easy to use, setup menu is great also.

No coax audio output.
