Looked Like a Good Buy

 

I bought this machine in the hopes of dubbing a huge bunch of VHS tapes onto DVD's in order to work with and edit the DVD's on my computer. My first call to tech support was to figure out why I couldn't dub a tape. A circle with a slash through it ...

Fairly inexpensive ; will record TV programs ; works for dubbing DVDs that can't be edited

Manual written by someone who knew machine too well & took too much for granted

A very good DVD/VHS recorder for the Money, and easy to use to boot

 

Easier to use than most DVD recorders, and at a very fair price.

Slow starting up(like most recorders) a little tricky figuring out dubbing.

I just received this recorder for Christmas,(2006) and I love it! I bought a much more expensive Philips Recorder- only device in 2004, and this JVC is just much more user friendly recorder. The older Philips takes much longer to finalize a DVD+R disc ...

Easier to use than most DVD recorders, and at a very fair price.
