I would never have bought this dvd had I appreciated the virtual impossibility of obtaining subtitles. I cannot use it without this facility - my previous 5 year old Sony had a subtitle button o the remote why not the LG which I'll be returning to you...

We purchased this as we enjoy owning the films we watch, rather than rely on a monthly subscription service. It's exactly what we need, plays 4k bluray and our old DVDs with no issues, because let's face it, who needs a 4k box set of Fraiser? Richer...
