weak or momentarily very weak resolution on the edge of the frame,, bad work against bright light,, very high chromatic aberration at shorter focal lengths,, significant distortion,, noticeable vignetting at the widest angle of view.

A truly amazing piece of kit.

 

Of course it was the kit lens that came with the a6000 so I just got on with framing my shots round this lens. I have other Sony lens now but the 18-55 stays with me most of the time.
