For the price, can't beat

I looked for a lens with the capability to photograph my childrens sports games from the stands since I do not have access to the fields. I have a soccer player, tennis player and a son that races drag cars, and this lens does great in all. The auto...

Looked around for a long time before purchasing and was a bit shy on getting this lens but did what I expected and more

doesn't fit my camera bag. now have to buy new one. Actually havent found any cons.

This lense is great for what you pay for. It focuses easy and has no non sense care.

Doomed without a USM motor

I had to buy this lens as an emergency replacement for a lens that broke, but I would not buy it in any other situation unless it was the last possible resort. Spend the money for the USM motor, because it's well worth the extra dollars.

It has a good focal length, but that's it.

Without a USM motor, this lens is totally useless for shooting sports or anything that requires quick focusing. This product is far inferior to lenses with a USM motor.
