Previous Whirlpool macine lasted many years, without trouble and was a valued item so did not consider any oher make when the old machine entered retirement.

Big drum, very quiet in operation, good range of cycles, solid build so feels reliable, good wash results.

The detergent /softener drawer is a bit fiddly to wipe dry under the softener slot, but that's really nit-picking!
