Piece of junk

 

Worked well for almost a year, then nothing but trouble. Stopped defrosting the freezer which iced up and meant the whole unit warmed up as the cold air passes from the freezer to the fridge. The ice crusher motor failed. It leaks water and the door...

Looks great, size is perfect for our family. Kids loved the cold water.

Reliability and build quality are shocking!

Whirlpool fobbed me off after our fridge went warm for the 5th time (with the 5th time just being outside the warranty period). They said it was too far outside their original 2 year warranty period to do anything about it. I wrote a detailed letter to...

Whirlpool was recommended to us, but I have nothing positive to say about our fride

Broke down 4 times during warranty. Went warm a 5th time just outside of warranty period. Had to wait 58 days one time for a part to arrive from Whirlpool. Fridge is a lemon.

Always thought that Whirlpool was synonymous with quality. Apparently it's lemon and not quality. Don't buy whirlpool!!!! trust me.

Good size and the convenience of an ice and water dispenser. Ice can be dispensed crushed or in cubes. Lots of freezer space.

Before the warranty ran out, the door with the ice and water dispenser had to be replaced. Door was making funny noises and water would splash out intermittently with a banging noise. Both doors when open seems to unhinge (if that's the right term to...

Whirlpool is rubbish. What was quite an expensive fridge to begin, ended up a more expensive lemon. My opinion is to keep well clear of Whirlpool products.

I'll never buy a Whirlpool product again. The service from the local agent was rubbish. The fridge was broken for 6 days in the middle of summer and then a thousand dollar bill! We could have purchased a new fridge for that money>

Repair 6 mths out of warrenty cost me $980.00![Replace main PCB].
