Didn't work. Lights came on and food went round and round, but no heating was experienced

There is only two dials , no complicated defrosting selections. Turn one dial for the power setting one dial for the time. We gave our multibuttoned digital Panasonic microwave away. Someone else can try and work out how to defrost with it.

Vents on top . We stored the bread board and chopping boards on top of the old microwave as it didn't have top vent. They have had to go in a cupboard now.
