I originally bought my R-1514 because my mother had installed it in both of her houses and I liked the way it looked.

We bought this based on the sleek look and the fact that the angled corners matched our bumped out angled stove. The LED lights started burning out before one year of usage. We got it repaired under warranty. However 18 months later the LED is gone...

Terrible!!! The LCD light which displays the power level, time and timer flat out broke on me after about a year and half--just after warranty expired. The microwave still functions, but imagine trying to use it without the LCD.

Congratulations for reading this before you buy, I didn't and found out the hard way that this over-the-range microwave doesn't vent!

I bought this microwave about 2-3 months ago and it is the best microwave we've had. The sensor cook feature works properly and the door is just fine after having many meals prepared on the range-top 15.75 inches away.
