Microwave installed in new home. Replaced magnetron 3 times in 8 years. Many failures reported on Internet. One failure occurred 14 months after magnetron was replaced. GE should have done the right thing to correct an obvious defect.

We moved into new house in Feb. 2000. Have probably replaced magnetron on average 7 times and main control panel 2 times. On average has problem at least once every 10 months or so. Great looking unit with nice features but very problematic.

Three magnetrons in four years. There is definetly somethig wrong with this product.

This GE microwave/convection oven is on its 5th mag tube in 9 years. This appliance is lightly used in my home. Something is clearly wrong with this appliance line and I will never purchase another GE.

7 years and 3 magnetrons. Not good. I bought home in 2002 and had all Profile appliances installed. The dishwasher never worked....ok....2 days....and had to be replaced....undercounter wine/beverage center light shorted out ....this Combination Oven...
