Very fast as backup drive.

 

Other than the slow mail, you couldn't ask for a better deal than Newegg had these for on Black Friday. Now hopefully next year they'll have 1tb drives at this price, and i'll be able to eliminate platter drives on my build altogether.

I bought a pair of these for data backup drives coming off of an Intel SSD. Backup speeds are so nice now, and these drives are big enough to hold some media, too

They're bare drives and the only sticker is on the underside that attaches to the drive tray ; And they don't come with 2.5" drive adapters ; That and the fact that it took 10 days for these to arrive. So they averaged less than 10 miles an hour...

Capacity, Speed

Thicker than other SSDs! Works fine for desktops and probably larger laptops, but if you're looking to install in certain ultrabooks you may be out of luck! These are over 9mm thick compared to other brands at around 7mm. Found this out the hard way
