The hard drive was purchased along with a new notebook. I was able to clone the hard drive of newly purchased notebook to this one with Acronis True Image with no problem (including hidden partition). Boot up the new labtop from this SSD. The notebook...

I am extremely satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it to my friends.

Fast, silent and comes with 3.5 adapter. Read and write speeds are very close to advertised.

Does what it says

 

At 240GB it's not quite enough to become my sole drive, but it installed flawlessly and makes my games load faster; Skyrim used to take a minute or two to load, but now loads in seconds. I also play World of Warcraft with a friend who also bought this...

This drive does what it says. It's faster than the HDD I was using, so I'm happy. It even came with a mounting bracket, so that's a plus.

Does not come with SATA cable for some reason. I'm not sure why those aren't included anymore, so make sure to factor that in if you're planing on buying.

A good solid-state hard drive + a great way to breathe new life into older laptops!

 

Solid-state hard drives are a great way to add new life to older laptops. If you have an older laptop is not running as fast as you'd like I recommend adding more RAM first then moving to a solid-state hard drive like this one.

the thing is nice about solid-state hard drives is you don't have to worry about mechanical failures common in traditional hard drives. The Silicon Power hard drives are very solid solid-state hard drives. When moving my MacBook pro traditional hard...

the price on Newegg is a little more expensive than other websites I found But Newegg service is top notch.

Works like a champ

 

Although Newegg said the warranty is 3 years and an additional 2 years after product registration. I'm not upset the warranty may only be 3 years. Seems to be an outstanding product. Takes the computer more time to go through all the POST and BIOS...
