Ibought this back in Febuary and it has been great up till now I had BIOS set to AHCI and installed 7pro 64 on it and loved the quickness but it all of a sudden just up and died, stopped responding and now not even their firmware updater will find it...

It DIED in less than a year

I'm cautiously optimistic there won't be any. People have had hit-or-miss luck with these, as G.Skill has clearly had some Sandforce issues with these drives. I'm hoping that mine is new enough that it comes from the "fixed" generation of drives. So...

It's fast, while it does last...... If it even ships to you in a normal state... chances are it wont though
