I like it!

I wanted a TIVO type recorder without the cost of a monthly subscription. Well, this is close. It does not do any of the intuitive recording, but I did not want that. I am fine just recording what I want. It have VCR , so the quick # entry works great....

Great Picture, lowest price of comparable units, very good cust. support.

Small remote buttons, menus are easy, but multiple button pushes required

Bargain Price

I bought the ILO DVDRHD04 at Wal-Mart for $278 + tax = $302 total, but I am returning it to get a Panasonic DMRE85H for $380 at Amazon instead. The picture quality is good. The instructions for set-up and use are adequate, although the wording is odd ...

Thumbnails make finding shows a breeze.It uses the most compatible DVD format. (DVD R/RW)

Remote is not user friendly.Cant record and watch at the same time.
