Actiontec Wireless Digital Media Player

Streams digital audio, video, photos, and Internet radio; component and DVI video outputs; capable of 480p and 1,080i resolutions; NTSC and PAL compatible; 5.1-channel AC3 playback; includes 802.11b wireless network card; straightforward setup.

Awkward navigation via remote control; can't add additional Internet radio stations; not compatible with 802.11g or 802.11a PCMCIA cards; doesn't display CD artwork; Windows only.

The affordable Actiontec Wireless Digital Media Player packs some advanced features but falls short on implementation.

The affordable Actiontec Wireless Digital Media Player has almost every item on the "perfect media hub" checklist: music, high-definition photos, photos with music tracks, video support, a Web browser, and multisource and multiroom support.

The Actiontec Wireless Digital Media Player provides a superior set of features. But only choose this product if you're comfortable going one-on-one with cantankerous gadgets.
