No matter how many times I reach for my bottle of Rive Gauche, I can't really explain this scent. There's bergamot, lavender, rosemary, patchouli and geranium in this (vetiver is also listed but I don't get much of this). A lot going on at once and yet...

Have used YSL "Pour Homme" all of my adult life. I didn't mean to purchase the "Rive Gauche" version....but I love it! I can now use the two versions as the mood takes me. My wife likes the RG version very much.

This fragrance is a beautiful classic 'barber shop' type fragrance. A really nice clean smell suitable for all occasions, all year round too. You simply cannot go wrong with this one. Just a shame YSL decided to change the bottle.

Why is there no reference to the old bottle or old fragrance, is this the same product or has it changed. the old bottle was black and same shape as the women's. We had refills that could be placed into it but we are totally lost with this one. It is...
