The CX Plus add noise cancellation to their well-specified feature set, delivering another solid pair of earbuds from Sennheiser
Excellent comfort and fit ; Well-featured app and specification ; Warm, weighty sound
ANC isn’t the most convincing ; Short on detail and clarity
Sennheiser’s latest affordable true wireless buds make a solid impression in terms of feature set and design. The sound quality is pleasing, although rivals arguably have the edge here and noise cancellation isn’t the most powerful, either.

A talented pair of earbuds with room for improvement

The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless earbuds are really good value for money
Clean, balanced audio ; Decent battery life ; Loads of extra features
Could be a bit unreliable ; Not the best choice for small ears
The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless are a pair of noise-cancelling earbuds with good sound, loads of features and decent battery life. Not everyone will find them comfortable but they do come with 4 sizes of silicone ear tips to help you find the...

Sennheiser piles on the features to (mostly) good effect
Very decent specs at the price ; Balanced, confident sound ; Numerous (and effective) control options
Not the most effective noise-cancelling ; Not too certain where rhythms are concerned ; Predictably ungainly design

The audiophile-friendly Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless earbuds pair solid noise cancellation with a sound signature that focuses on accuracy.

Sennheiser fixes the problems of its CX past
Restrained, stylish design ; Strong noise cancellation ; Decent battery life ; IPX4 water resistance ; Signature Sennheiser sound
Still bulky for small ears ; No wireless charging ; No “find my earbuds” feature
The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless earbuds fix key problems with the originals, which makes these a worthwhile low-cost alternative to the Momentums True Wireless 2.

This small update brings active noise cancellation (ANC) to Sennheiser's already impressive budget earbuds.
Good sound ; Solid value ; Excellent battery life
Noise-cancelling could be better ; Middling build quality
With only a small bump in price, adding active noise-cancelling (ANC) - even though it's mediocre - into the CX earbuds was worth it in our view, making for another solid budget outing from Sennheiser.

Sennheiser's latest true wireless earbuds might be just as chonky as their predecessors, but new features make them a little more tempting.
Customisable touch controls ; Impressively punchy sound ; Good performance across music, videos & gaming
Infuriating companion app on Android ; May not fit smaller-eared humans ; Intermittent connectivity issues
The CX Plus True Wireless are excellent all-rounders, with impressive out of the box sound and customisable touch controls. The only problems are the potential connection issues on Android and the frustratingly temperamental Sennheiser companion app.

With outstanding bass, reliable wireless performance, solid ANzC, and aptX Adaptive, the reasonably priced CX Plus offer plenty of value.
Stellar bass performance ; Secure and comfortable fit ; Exceptional and reliable wireless range ; AptX Adaptive codec support
Sub-par audio performance on phone calls ; Veiled midrange ; Stocky charging case
With Bluetooth 5.2, aptX Adaptive, and good active noise cancellation all in a sub-$200 package, Sennheiser’s CX Plus True Wireless headphones deliver plenty of value.

The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless are the upgraded variant of the Sennheiser CX True Wireless. They have an improved continuous battery life, support aptX Ada...
Well-built design. IPX4 rating. Graphic EQ and presets available via companion app. Very good battery performance. ANC can help block out ambient chatter.
ANC struggles to reduce bass-range noise. Terrible passive soundstage. No multi-device pairing. Sub-par recording quality. Mic struggles to separate your voice from moderate background noise.
The Sennheiser CX Plus are alright for neutral sound. Out of the box, they have a warm and bass-heavy sound profile that delivers extra boom to your mixes. However, vocals and lead instruments are dark and veiled in comparison, which may not be ideal...
