They may not be the best-sounding earbuds you can buy, but these open-style earbuds are amazingly comfortable for long hours of wear.
Incredibly comfortable and secure Stay fully aware of your surroundings Very good call quality Good battery life
Mediocre sound quality Not great for noisy locations No wireless charging
“The OpenFit won't blow you away on sound quality, but they're incredibly comfy.”

Staying aware never sounded so good
Light and comfortable ; Fantastic for awareness ; Great sound and customizable
Sound leaks ; Earhook not always ideal ; No multipoint pairing
The Shokz OpenFit true wireless earbuds sit outside of your ear canals, delivering quality audio almost as good as in-ear buds while allowing you to hear your surroundings – perfect for fitness and everyday awareness. At times the fit needs adjusting,...

A departure from what we've seen from the brand so far, the Shokz OpenFit open-ear headphones aren't half bad
Comfortable fit ; Decent sound quality for open-ear headphones ; IP54 water resistance ; Better suited for everyday use than bone-conduction headphones
No wear detection ; Very little noise cancellation prowess to speak of ; Ear hooks aren't ideal for people who wear glasses/sunnies
Thanks to their open-back design, Shokz's OpenFit headphones let environmental sounds enter your ears without compromising too much on sound quality. However, the lack of noise isolation and sound leakage may be drawbacks for those seeking a personal...

Shokz's latest headphones put tiny speakers right on top of your ears.
Soft silicone. Good battery life. Incredible bass. Comfortable to wear. Calls sound good. Can hear ambient noise. iOS app is easy to use.
Fit is very insecure. Upper registers sound fuzzy. Buttons are unreliable. No Android app yet. Noise-canceling only works for other people, not you.

True wireless earbuds that promise great awareness as well as engaging audio, the Shokz Openfit might be fab for fitness fans
Comfortable to wear all day ; Effective touch controls outside of exercise ; Reliable connectivity
Lightweight build can affect secure fit ; Battery life takes a hit at louder volumes ; Charging case is pretty big
Comfortable wireless earbuds that safely deliver bassy and customisable audio, but not everyone will gel with the the earhook design.

Shokz's first true wireless earphones offer a discrete design and a secure fit, but the audio is a tad lacking.
Secure fit during workouts ; Decent battery life ; Excellent companion app
Mixed audio ; Uncomfortable after long periods ; Voice tinny on calls
The Shokz OpenFit will stay securely on your ears, even during vigorous workouts. However, the audio struggles when turned up full blast.

Open-ear headphones such as the Shokz OpenFit are a rare beast and dwarfed by the more popular in-ear design. But with claims of superb comfort from the ‘ultra-soft silicone finish' and an assurance that you'll get ‘crystal clear' sound quality, these...

Bone conduction headphones are popular with runners and cyclists, but they don't deliver the strong audio of traditional earbuds. The Shokz OpenFit try to deliver the best of both worlds. My new favorite running earbuds are finicky and pricey. But now...

The recently dropped OpenFit buds are the latest and greatest in the innovative company's line of earbuds and are touted as a streamlined listening experience for a multitude of applications whether its running, in the office or having to talk in a...
7 hours play time and 5 minutes will give an hour charge ; $289 price ; Clear sound output for all media tested and crystal clear calls ; Light, comfortable earbud design
Two tap technology required instead of one tap technology to turn on music
In conclusion, the sound is impressive especially with the added bonus of being able to still take in muted sounds around you which has the added benefit of safety when walking or running. It’s apparent the busy consumer was considered during design...
