Please save yourself = don't go there!

looks good - but looks aren't everything esp when the phone does not work well.

popping/static is intolerable, handset battery has a life of 1 phone call per day.

The answering machine is worthless.

Great sound quality....but....cuts off messages!

Good voice quality on the remote units and on the base

Answering system is HORRIBLE! IT "may" record or not sometimes it disconnects you several times

I think I tried them all

Corded base phone. Base keypad with CID display. Headset plug on base. Multiple volume levels.

Overall, we like this phone a lot

AT&T delivered the goods in fine style -- thankfully!

I spent a lot of time tying to research the pros and cons of the AT&T 2462 2-Line 2.4 GHz phone system. The conflicting reviews are a mystery. I finally placed my confidence in the favorable reviewers as well as the reputation for high quality ...

The AT&T 2462 system measured up to the standards described by the favorable reviewers.

I have to depress the Line 1/2 button before picking up headset.
