Fujitsu Esprimo Q520 review
This business-oriented system from Fujitsu is considerably larger than most mini PCs, but offers some unique features. See all budget PCs reviews.
The Fujitsu Esprimo Q520 is a truly powerful business PC, with excellent ergonomics and superb build quality. It's much larger than the smallest mini PCs but also considerably less expensive and incorporates a DVD burner and internal power supply.

Compact size, very quiet and fast. Great for home office use. Recovery disks supplied for Win 8 and Win 7 (64 & 32 bit)
Required some pre-loaded software to be un-installed. Would have preferred to not have virus software, etc, pre-installed

Small, slick looking PC. Looks good on your desk and saves loads of space compared to a normal PC. Very quiet, except for when the DVD drive kicks in. When running normally, you can't really tell it's on. Definitely a good purchase.
The only reason I have given this a lower rating is that it comes with a whole load of Fujitsu bloatware. The added software is not only annoying, but it made the PC run so slowly that the first thing I did was reinstall the OS (Windows 7) to clean up...

It's incredibly quiet, exactly what I was looking for after years putting up with a tower that sounded like an air conditioner; very small too by comparison. Its weight is 1.9kg, somewhat more than the 1.6kg quoted in the specs.
Very little printed information comes with the computer, novices please note that there's absolutely nothing about how to get it going. There's a leaflet which tries (not very hard) to indicate how the computer should be sited, with tiny diagrams to...

It is very small and a genuine space saving device.
I' m cautious about its reliability as it has blue screened on me once already. Despite having an Intel i5 processor, performance seems to be poor, taking up to 20 seconds to wake up from sleep mode.
