Great Camcorder

I've owned this camcorder for a year now and figured I would go ahead and post a report.

Great picture, big display, 1.3 megapixel digital photos

Still a great buy even after 2 years

This camcorder has many features I like and can't find anywhere else. It's really loaded. Solid feel to it. What makes it easy to use is the touch-screen for the settings. Screen is detachable and can be used as a remote with a cable attached to ...

Reliable, good on battery, pictures, telescopic mic, touch-screen settings, IR, low light. Manual or automatic.

No plug for external mic. A bit long, but probably required for good quality lens

RCA's Top o' the Line Killer Machine

So, I'll be honest. When I say top of the line, I mean the top of RCA's line. This camera wouldn't compete with a Canon GL or XL or a high-end Sony, but for $700 dollars, you're not gonna find a better camera.

Huge LCD display, Touchscreen LCD, 1.3 megapixel recording

Time Coding doesn't seem configurable, no DV cable included
