The camcorder is so easy to use I just plugged it in played around with the settings for about 5 mins and started my first movie:). Picture quality is good and clear stills are also good

If you do not want anything flash (e HD) then this is a perfect compromise, easy to use and does what it says on the tin

if you have large hands the buttons may be a bit fiddly but that may be a good thing so he doesnt hog it all the time!

Cheap and easy to use, bought one for my little sisters 8th birthday and she loves it. The still images aren't that great but look slightly better once uploaded to the computer but after all it is camcorder not a camera so can't complain much.

It is very light, good value for money. Very easy to use once you get used to controls.
