My relationship with this camera and it's manufacturer, Panasonic, has been a "love/hate" relationship since about 6 months after buying it. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT! I repeat, keep your receipt. Read on to find out why... I had no decision in buying this ...

2 In 1 Video and Digital Camera.

The Panasonic Palmcorder model PV-L452 was a good buy for us at the time. You can't beat the price. I'd consider it a middle of the road palmcorder. Which would you rather have, a digital camera or a camcorder? Why choose? This camcorder can store...

Ease of use, flip out viewing screen, price

Low resolution digital still pictures, bulky.

Highly recommended for ease of use

I orignally bought a Canon ZR40 and found the instruction manual very complicated, out of sequence, left out essential steps, assumes you understand tons of techinical terms, etc. Canon tech support was very rude during both of my attempts at help...

Price, versatility, ease of use

A little bulky, quality of stills is fair only

Lots of features at an unbeatable price

I got this camcorder for basic home movie use, so I'd say that features and price were the important decision making factors in this purchase. It was definitely quantity over quality.

Great features for the price. Takes digital stills. Good video quality.

Awkward size. Low resolution digital still images.
