Samsung H40B

 

Samsung makes great TV'S and this one is definitely one of their best. Using as a monitor and i couldn't be happier.

Just the aforementioned HDMI ports. it has one on the side but the rest require you to plug in at a perpendicular angle from behind the TV.

Great monitor

 

Am planning on getting another one to replace the 27" second monitor since a pair of 40's are always a "GOOD THING"! :)

Very crisp clear text display for use as a computer monitor. I use 8+ hours/day without eyestrain. Makes it easy to have an impromptu meeting to discuss server issues and everyone can easily see what is occurring.

Damaged in shipping, packaging not very sturdy. RMA for item is more than a hassle. Willupdate review if, and dwhen, we receive a functional monitor.

If you are thinking of buying a large display to use a computer monitor, this is a great option. You can save a bit of money buying an HDTV and get a nice thin panel, but you likely won't be able to get the same picture quality you would find in this.

If you want a 40" monitor for a PC, this makes for a great option over using a standard HDTV. Since it is designed with use for a computer display, it uses 4:4:4 subsampling, which is important for viewing text. Most conventional TVs that exist now...
